Book Lab Tests on Amazon App, Get Reports in 6 Hours

Amazon India has introduced "Amazon Diagnostics," a home-based lab testing service now operational across six major cities. The initiative enables users to schedule lab tests, track appointments, and retrieve results via the Amazon app.

The service is currently live in Bengaluru, Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Mumbai, and Hyderabad, covering more than 450 PIN codes. Over 800 diagnostic tests are available, with doorstep sample pickups possible within 60 minutes and reports accessible digitally in under six hours.

Amazon Diagnostics is operated in partnership with Orange Health Labs, an accredited diagnostic provider. The service aims to bridge common healthcare service gaps, such as inconsistent quality, limited accessibility, and prolonged turnaround times.

Through the Amazon platform, customers receive access to real-time appointment slots, map-based address validation, automated test preparation guidance, and secure report access through the Amazon Health dashboard.

This new offering becomes the latest addition to Amazon Medical, complementing existing services like Amazon Pharmacy and Amazon Clinic. The combined ecosystem now supports a full outpatient healthcare experience, covering everything from virtual consultations to prescription deliveries and diagnostic testing.

Jayaramakrishnan Balasubramanian, Category Leader at Amazon Medical, stated that the goal is to simplify healthcare access by integrating essential services into the Amazon ecosystem. He emphasized the importance of providing verified diagnostic services directly at home.

Dhruv Gupta, Co-founder of Orange Health Labs, highlighted the collaboration’s focus on delivering responsive and trustworthy healthcare. He said the partnership with Amazon underscores the growing consumer trust in Orange Health.
